The Kia Niro presents a new and exciting option for those who seek the functionality of a small crossover along with impressive levels of driving efficiency. It's available in hybrid and plug-in hybrid versions that deliver up to 52 city and 49 highway mpg, with the plug-in achieving a combined 105 MPGe while driving on batteries. Importantly, with prices starting at $23,340 for the hybrid and $27,900 for the plug-in hybrid, this kind of high efficiency is available to a wide range of buyers wishing to drive 'green' while limiting carbon emissions during their daily drives.

"We're thrilled to have received this special distinction from Green Car Journal," said Orth Hedrick, Vice President of Strategy and Planning at Kia Motors America. "The Niro represents years of hard work by Kia to provide eco-conscious car buyers a vehicle that is fun, versatile, economical, and a pleasure to look at and drive. It's immensely gratifying to all of us that the Niro is recognized by Green Car Journal as 2018 Green SUV of the Year™."

Cadillac's CT6 Plug-In impresses with its premium style, high levels of luxury and performance, and efficient plug-in hybrid power that provides up to 31 miles of battery-electric driving and an overall range of 430 miles. It excels with its connectivity, driver assist systems, and on-board electronics. Driver assist features include adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist with lane departure warning, forward collision alert, front pedestrian braking, forward and reverse automatic braking, rear cross-traffic alert, and surround vision. A head-up display and enhanced night vision are also provided.

"Technology and innovation have always been at the core of Cadillac," said Cadillac CT6 Launch and Lifecycle Manager Eric Angeloro. "With double the EV range of the segment, a 62 MPGe rating from the EPA, and effortless power delivery, the CT6 Plug-In changes the expectations of what a hybrid can be."
