(WASHINGTON) Automated technologies will soon revolutionize the driving experience, connecting drivers with city infrastructure for smarter and safer transportation. In preparation for this revolution, The Washington Auto Show® will present MobilityTalks International® —a preshow symposium that will address government regulatory best practices in the field of new mobility, while allowing innovation to flourish – on Tuesday, Jan. 24 and Wednesday, Jan. 25.
The program, which will advance the 10-day public show that opens Friday, Jan. 27, will include a full-day peer-to-peer exchange with multiple breakout sessions in cybersecurity, spectrum sharing, standards cooperation, human machine interface and digital cities will be followed by a networking reception and a Capitol Hill forum. Geared toward those working in government, industry and media, MobilityTalks International will also feature the Interactive Mobility Experience Ride & Drive at RFK Stadium, with vehicles furnished by the U.S. Department of Transportation and several OEM’s.
